The Cruising Fleet is the biggest fleet in the Club with more than 100 members. Boats in the Fleet range from 20 to 45 feet. With such a large membership, activities abound every week from May through October. Events fall into three major categories: organized cruises, social gatherings at the Club, and racing. Many members of the Cruising Fleet combine weekly active racing with social sailing and cruising to distant locations. Cruisers can race at Nyack on Wednesday evenings, Sunday afternoons, or at weekend regattas throughout the year at neighboring yacht clubs sponsored by the Hudson River Yacht Racing Association. Read our brochure to find out more about the Cruising Fleet.

Here’s hoping everyone had a lovely sail tonight, ending under a nearly full moon.
Sorry the results are late. Thirteen boats raced last night under light air conditions. The Sailflow data from Tappan Zee Light 14 is attached.
At last! A night of great air with a steady southeasterly at 8 – 10 mph. The Race Committee was Eric Kent and Dan Parietti, and the Race Patrol was Lou Kalmar and Amy Villalba. Thanks, guys.
What started out as a bang tonight, ended at a near whimper. A strong southerly blew all day, increasing to 20 -25 mph just before the start of the race.
